What’s NEW IN 2014?
This year Dark Harbor unveils two brand new fantastic mazes –Soulmate and B340 – if you are REALLY brave, then there is also the Exclusive Encounter unlike any other haunted experience onboard the famous ship. The Voodoo Priestess, makes her debut as the latest spirit to join us at Dark Harbor. There are even new rides! One is called-Sinister Swings. These death-defying mazes will take you through never before visited areas of the ship.

SOULMATE
This new maze called “Soulmate” will bring to life the haunted spirit of the frightful Graceful Gale. Unravel Gale’s story and her true spirit will be revealed. You will realize that Gale may not quite be the graceful lady she appears to be, but more monstrous than you could ever imagine.

Summertime has come to an end at the happiest place on earth. Yesterday marked the beginning of Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort. Before we say goodbye though, here are some highlights from the summer at Disney.

I love watching the horses at Disneyland. They each have such unique personalities. So fun and silly. 🙂

Such a beautiful view. The castle, the matterhorn and this super adorable horse taking a second to pose for ‘Horsing Around In LA’ and all of his fans while he is working hard at his job.

Big Thunder Mountain Ranch was all decked out in its patriotic best for the summer holidays. Notice Walt Disney there? Even he had a love for horses! 😉

Wordless Wednesday: Cambria’s Scarecrow Festival!

I recently went on a trip to Cambria (another post to follow on the amazing Blue Dolphin Inn and The Wine Wrangler) and we were greeted by many friendly folks along the side of the road upon our arrival. We soon realized that these friendly creations were scarecrows and that the scarecrow festival was going on right now in Cambria until October 31st!

The first Cambria Scarecrow Festival was back in 2009, starting out with only 30 scarecrows. Now in 2013, over 400 scarecrows line Cambria’s business district. Cambria is a perfect year-round escape, with October being one of the best times of all to visit. The warm October sun brightens the quaint seaside village. Hundreds of unique scarecrows are displayed throughout Cambria’s East and West Villages and along Moonstone Beach Drive.

Here from October 1-31, the Cambria Scarecrow Festival will wow and amaze you while on your next visit. While here, also be sure to check out the cute boutiques, tasty restaurants, and don’t forget about the wine and beer tasting too. 😉 Take a stroll on the magical beaches or hike the many trails that wind their way from the beaches into the pines. You will soon see why I love the Central Coast so much with a visit here!
