Good-Bye Summertime Disney, Hello Halloween Time Disney!

Good-Bye Summertime Disney, Hello Halloween Time Disney!

By Erin

Summertime has come to an end at the happiest place on earth. Yesterday marked the beginning of Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort. Before we say goodbye though, here are some highlights from the summer at Disney.

Disney Summertime  I love watching the horses at Disneyland. They each have such unique personalities. So fun and silly. 🙂

Disney Horse

Such a beautiful view. The castle, the matterhorn and this super adorable horse taking a second to pose for ‘Horsing Around In LA’ and all of his fans while he is working hard at his job.

Disney Summer

Big Thunder Mountain Ranch was all decked out in its patriotic best for the summer holidays. Notice Walt Disney there? Even he had a love for horses! 😉

I loved seeing this cowboy boot! What a cute idea!

Boy was it hot outside! To cool down, you could enjoy a refreshing mint julep  while listening to the Mad T Party Band over at Disney CA Adventure.

At night, the band really would get in the groove and rock out to some amazing tunes. They played a nice mix of all sorts of stuff that you would most likely recognize.

Those warm summer nights are over now. Well not really, as its still really hot outside, but this magical place has now transformed itself into Halloween Time. Filled with all sorts of fall colors, and festive decor, along with tasty seasonal treats, and something I am really looking forward to myself, is Halloween T! I have yet to experience what this is like and am excited to see for myself as I have heard such great things about it!

Here are just a few pictures of what you have to look forward to at Halloween Time at Disneyland. 😉

Disney Halloween Time

During Disney’s Halloween Time there is much spook-tacular fun with a series of family-friendly Halloween events—from September 12 to October 31, 2014.

Celebrate the season with seasonal attractions such as the Haunted Mansion Holiday, with the beloved Jack Skellington, from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Then head on over, if you dare, to launch  into the most haunted section of the universe on Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.

Over at Disney’s California Adventure you can drop on in for some more ghostly encounters at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Take a walk down Main St. USA for a magical Pumpkin Festival with hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins on display. No two look alike.

Disney Halloween Time 2014Don’t forget to check out the Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland where you can meet some Disney villains or show your crafty side with some Halloween crafts and enjoy some not-so-spooky activities.  Pumpkin carvers will be on hand and hard at work for you watch some of the spooky magic as it is happening. Of course you will also be able to meet all of your favorite Disney Characters in their Halloween costumes.  Another not to miss attraction is the Dia de los Muertos with a traditional skeleton display which is also in Frontierland.

One big thing that I mentioned earlier that I am really looking forward to is the Mad T Party at Disney California Adventure, where you can dance the night away, chill out in the lounge with a drink or just take in all of the haunting scenes.

What are you most looking forward to about Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort this year? 🙂
