What Is LEGOLAND California Brick or Treat?
Brick or Treat is LEGOLAND California Resort’s annual family-friendly Halloween celebration. For select dates in September, October and November, the theme park transforms into a Halloween-themed “Mischief Town” filled with LEGO Monsters, decorations, entertainment, trick-or-treating, special activities and seasonal food.
The event is specifically designed with families and younger children in mind, making it a very different Halloween experience from traditional scare events.
Instead of haunted mazes and jump scares, expect colorful LEGO Monsters, silly Halloween characters, candy, music, interactive experiences and plenty of opportunities for kids to get into the Halloween spirit.
And perhaps one of the biggest perks?
Brick or Treat is included with general LEGOLAND California admission on event dates.
That means you can spend the day enjoying the regular LEGOLAND attractions before diving into the Halloween festivities.

The biggest addition for 2026 is Brick or Treat Street, an all-new interactive Halloween walkthrough experience.
Think of it as a LEGO-fied Halloween neighborhood where guests can visit six different Monster homes.
Each house has its own character, theme and interactive surprises, making this more than simply walking up to a door and collecting candy.
The six houses include:
- Wacky Witch’s Cottage
- Wolf Guy’s Cabin
- Spider Lady’s Castle
- Mummy’s Throne Room
- Plant Monster’s Greenhouse
- Scarecrow’s Barn
Each stop offers something different, from searching for runaway frogs to waking an ancient mummy and trying to scare away a mischievous bird.
It is essentially trick-or-treating meets interactive LEGO storytelling.
Brick or Treat Street: The New Interactive Halloween Experience
If you are visiting LEGOLAND California specifically for Halloween, Brick or Treat Street is the experience you’ll want to put near the top of your list.
The walkthrough features six life-sized LEGO Monster homes, each inspired by LEGO Minifigure characters.
The fun starts before you even reach the front door because each house has its own interactive storyline.
1. Wacky Witch’s Cottage
Things haven’t gone exactly according to plan at the Wacky Witch’s house.
Her magical spells have gone hilariously wrong, and guests can ring the doorbell, search for runaway frogs and discover colorful potion mishaps.
It’s less “scary witch” and more chaotic LEGO Halloween fun.
Which is probably exactly what younger trick-or-treaters want.
2. Wolf Guy’s Cabin
Get ready to meet Wolf Guy.
Knock on the cabin door and witness his hilarious full-moon transformation.
Then, naturally, you’ll need to contribute your best howl before continuing through Brick or Treat Street.
This one sounds particularly fun for kids who love getting involved rather than simply watching an attraction.
3. Spider Lady’s Castle
Spider Lady might not be home, but her creepy-crawly companions certainly are.
Guests can interact with mysterious doors, discover unexpected textures and encounter some furry friends.
It’s creepy enough to feel like Halloween without crossing into genuinely frightening territory.
4. Mummy’s Throne Room
Someone, or something is sleeping inside the Mummy’s ancient throne room.
Your mission?
Wake the mighty Mummy.
Guests knock on the door and awaken a dramatic curse that leads to an unexpected, family-friendly twist.
Because apparently waking an ancient mummy is a perfectly reasonable Halloween activity.
5. Plant Monster’s Greenhouse
This isn’t your average greenhouse.
The Plant Monster’s home is filled with giant vines, spores and hungry plants that react as curious explorers get a little too close.
For kids who love interactive environments, this could be one of the most entertaining stops along Brick or Treat Street.
6. Scarecrow’s Barn
The friendly Scarecrow has a problem: he needs help scaring away a cheeky feathered friend.
Guests can strike their funniest pose, shout their loudest scare and collect a LEGO brick before heading to the next adventure.
It’s a great example of what makes Brick or Treat different from traditional Halloween events: kids aren’t simply spectators—they’re part of the experience.
