Avocado Margarita Drink from Disney World at Epcot

Epcot’s Avocado Margarita from La Cava del Tequila at Disney World is the perfect Margarita to enjoy on National Margarita Day (which happens to be today, February 22nd) and now you can recreate this refreshing drink to enjoy at home any day of the year! Two of my favorite things…. Margaritas and avocados. You just can’t go wrong with that! Cheers!

The margarita — triple sec, tequila, and lime juice — was created in 1938 in Mexico and is widely considered the official drink of having fun.

Here’s how to make it:

Avocado Margarita
Yield: 1 8oz glass
Prep Time: 4 min

Total Time: 4 min

Ingredients:
2 oz Tequila Blanco
1 oz Melon Liqueur
1 oz fresh Lime Juice
1 oz Simple Syrup
1 oz Orange Liqueur
Half Avocado, seed and skin removed, diced

Directions:
Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender until smooth and creamy.
Rim the glass with salt, or Teja seasoning, pour margarita into glass, and enjoy this magical drink!

What’s your favorite kind of margarita to enjoy on National Margarita Day (or any day of the year really)? This one is definitely one of my favorites.
