Poke Bowls + Good as Gold Giveaway

Poke Bowls + Melissa’s Produce Giveaway

By Erin

It’s Labor Day, and it’s like 10 million degrees outside! Normally I’d be all about being outside and grilling up something delicious. I originally had wanted to make something else for this post out on the grill. But that was before I knew it was going to be an oven outside and the thought of going out in the backyard and melting in this miserable heat isn’t at the top of my list of things to do. I just wanted something easy, cool, refreshing, and delicious to enjoy on this day. When my friend told me her family had just caught some Bonito out near Catalina and if I’d like some, I knew then exactly what I wanted to make for this heat wave. POKE! The bonito mixed with some rice, tropical fruit and other veggies from Melissa’s Produce would make for some amazing poke bowls!
