Returning Mazes

Many of your favorite mazes will be returning with some fun twists.

  • Circus: Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, and experience the world’s most horrifying circus! Face your greatest fears as you wander through a terrifying tent of terror. Disorienting illusions, maniacal magic acts, and a cadre of sideshow freaks are certain to shock, stun, and startle even the bravest of souls.
  • Deadrise: Deadrise is a WWII escort ship that helped guide The Grey Ghost through enemy-infested waters. After a fatal crash during one of their dangerous voyages, Deadrise sank to the bottom and has been resting in her watery grave in the depths of the sea ever since. The wreckage of Deadrise has once again been called into service by the star of Dark Harbor, The Captain, to escort him and his armada of ghosts and monsters into a battle against the living to reclaim Dark Harbor
  • Soulmate: Gale has been haunting Dark Harbor looking for a soul mate since her mysterious disappearance. A meandering maze of mystery, Soulmate is where Graceful Gale lures potential suitors with her charm. Beware of her minions, whose job it is to chop up her suitors and reassemble them into the perfect man. Once you’ve been smitten by Graceful Gale, there is no escaping…even after death!e.
  • B340: What would drive a man to madness and murder? That’s the answer B340 attempts to answer as we take a schizophrenic sojourn into the psychotic mind of Samuel the Savage. Tight spaces, darkness mixed with flashing lights, and pulse-pounding noises would drive anyone to the brink of insanity. Beware the wrath of violence of Samuel the Savage and be careful not to lose your head or your mind!
  • Lullaby- Scary Mary:  Do you want to play? Scary Mary is back and looking for playmates. Ring around the rosy and a pocket full of nightmares. The new Lullaby maze takes the visitor on a spine-tingling trip through the story of little Scary Mary. Gone, but certainly not forgotten, Mary is looking for playmates to join her on the other side of hell. Will you succumb to the youngster’s pranks and tricks, or will you escape with your soul intact? The little girl is very real, and you go past the indoor swimming pool…the exact spot where she died.

It is always a real treat to be able to attend a red carpet premiere and Queen of Katwe was no exception. Disney has another heartwarming and inspirational film with their newest movie, that’ sure to be a hit. It is now playing in theaters everywhere, but I had the pleasure of walking down the red carpet for the Queen of Katwe premiere at the El Capitan the other week! So what was it like on the carpet for Queen of Katwe? Take a look! 🙂

Waiting to check in and camera crews from different TV stations that were setting up and getting ready.
queen-of-katwe-red-carpetME! On the red carpet. So exciting… even with a sprained ankle (even though it’s kind of cut off you can still tell my right ankle is way bigger than my left! And still a bit bruised up…  but a huge improvement from what it was 3 weeks before this when I first sprained it. Watch out for curbs, they’re evil… :/

Then everyone entered the theater to watch the show! A little bit of background info about the film so you have some idea what it’s about if you didn’t already know. Life in Uganda for 9-year-old Phiona Mutesi (Nalwanga) is a constant struggle. Her days are spent selling vegetables on the streets of Katwe, one of the most poverty-stricken slums in Kampala, so school is not an option. Her mother, Harriet (Nyong’o), a proud and strong-willed woman, works tirelessly to support her family, whom she loves and protects with a fierce compassion. Consumed by the daily grind, Harriet worries that she can never offer her children the promise of a better life. The cast of Queen of Katwe is amazing. Phiona is the real-life inspiration for the movie about a rising chess star from an impoverished city in Uganda. Her mentor, Robert Katende, played by David Oyelowo, teaches her about life, hope and chess, so she’s able to travel the world and better her life and the lives of others.

There’s a new flock in town that you won’t want to miss that has landed in theaters today. To celebrate the release of STORKS, we attended a very special premier of the movie at Warner Bros studio last month. We cannot wait to watch the movie again now that it is in theaters.

STORKS

About the film

Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet giant Cornerstore. Junior, the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable and wholly unauthorized baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop – in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world. It’s a little bundle of joy that will warm your heart.

At the Warner Bros Studio, the crowd was set to enjoy a full day of fun activities and screening of the movie at the famous Steven J. Ross Theater. We walked the blue carpet and some of the characters were available to take pictures with like Tullip, Pigeon Toady and Junior.  Here’s went down and all the tasty and delicious things that were on hand as we entered the world of STORKS. The after party was held at the historic Brownstone Street inside the studios.  Activities included a candy station, a cotton candy station, lots of tasty food trucks to choose from, fun photo ops, making a Color-Me-Mine creation, face-painting, balloons, coloring, dancing, a crazy slide and more. Check out all the fun pictures below and make sure to watch the official trailer!
