Don’t Forget to Stop and Smell the Roses

Everywhere you look, spring is blooming. Time for new growth, new beginnings. Sometimes I get so busy with work, I forget to stop and smell the roses. This weekend I had a chance to do this though, and boy was I glad I did. Look what was there to greet me! I love spending time in my garden and taking care of them. Hope you enjoy these spring blooms from my backyard! It’s just too bad you can’t smell how fragrant they are on here!

This one almost kind of reminds me of the Beauty and the Beast Rose.

I wish these bloomed more than once a year!

MMMM, Mr. Lincoln roses are my favorites. I used to have about 5 plants but now I’m down to 2. As soon as I have more room, I’m adding them to the garden again–they are the most fragrant roses I’ve ever had!

Wow! Those are all from your backyard? SO beautiful! I bet they smell wonderful too. We just had a few bushes planted and they are pretty. Thanks for sharing these!

Yep! They’re all from my backyard, a couple are from the front yard. They do smell wonderful! I’d love to see what your bushes look like. I bet they are very pretty!! You’re welcome! 🙂

Pretty pictures & wow, that’s amazing that they are from your yard!! I chaperoned my daughter’s class at a field trip yesterday & spent most of it touring a garden area. It was lovely to spend time appreciating the beauty of nature!
