Wordless Wednesday: A Southern California Spring

Wordless Wednesday: A Southern California Spring

By: Erin

It’s not quite Thursday yet, so I thought I’d get my Wordless Wednesday post in while I still can! We are having wonderful 70 degree weather here in Southern California. I know everyone else isn’t so lucky. So come enjoy some nice warm California Sunshine and the beginnings of some very beautiful spring blooms from my backyard! Those that are in California, then you know what beautiful weather we’ve been having.  I hope you’ve been able to get outdoors and enjoy these beautiful spring days! Enjoy!

    • Yep! They usually will slowly start blooming in late March and then continue on through October or so… 😉

    • Oh I know! It’s crazy to think that some are still having to deal with snow and ice, in APRIL!! Brrrrr I can’t even imagine having that kind of weather right now. Kudos to all who are putting up with that weather though! I know I’d go stir crazy or something if I still had to stay indoors because it was too cold to be outside for very long!!

    • Thanks Molly! I love the vibrant colors of spring and all the beautiful flowers that come with it!! 🙂 lol thanks, I do love that little turtle! hehe

    • Thanks Tesa!!! I love gardening!! It’s so relaxing to be outside enjoying the beautiful flowers, roses, and trees. Brrrrrr thats cold!! Hope it has warmed up a little bit for you now! 🙂

    • Darn! Looks like I missed it… maybe I’ll see if I can catch this weeks one and put it in there then. 😉

    • Oh, that sounds like my garden a few weeks ago! Usually bugs aren’t a problem, but this year they were BAD!! Just use some soapy water and spray your roses with that. 😉 Do a few rounds of that over the course of a week or two & you should see those bugs disappear pretty fast and turn into something like you see here. 😀

  1. We’re having some warmer weather, but we aren’t quite to the spring beauty you are down there. I just noticed a few leaves beginning to sprout on the lilac out front, the apple tree is still barren, and there are a couple bulbs starting to do their thing! It will be here soon. I really enjoyed your photos.

  2. all those photos that you posted are gorgeous. I am not good at taking pictures, but you seem like a pro. great job!

    • Thanks Elizabeth! I too have to carry my cell with me wherever I go so that I can capture anything that catches my eye! I look forward to seeing any beautiful spring pics you get!!! 🙂
