Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment

Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment

The other night I had the opportunity to see Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment at the Honda Center in Orange County. My friend and her two kids also enjoyed the show with me. This show is amazing and entertaining for Disney fans of all ages. A magical show you won’t want to miss this holiday season!

The show starts with Mickey and Minnie making a grand entrance as they host the show by introducing playful scenes from some of your favorite Disney movies. Toy Story 3, The Little Mermaid, Cars, and Frozen are about to take the ice. Each story is told with such talent and grace from the ice skaters as they float and spin across the ice.

First up is Toy Story 3. Starting off in Andy’s room as he says goodbye to his toys before he leaves for college. Andy’s green army men march onto the ice followed by Buzz Lightyear, Barbie & Ken, Woody, Cowgirl Jessie,  and the rest of the characters from Toy Story. They escape Lotso, the teddy bear at the Sunnyside Day Care.

Next, we were mesmerized by The Little Mermaid. Sebastian swims out looking for Ariel. She is with her one of her best pals Flounder. Then Ursula and Prince Eric make their appearances. It feels like you are actually under the sea as bubbles fall from the sky as they sing the song “Under the Sea.”

Cars stars Lightning McQueen and his racing pals as they race across the ice. We were all amazed and filled with wonder from watching life size cars drive across the ice.

My favorite was the last feature of the night. Frozen stole the night as  fireworks went off when Elsa (as well as the entire audience) sang, “Let it Go.” We also loved when Olaf came out on stage to sing his song about summer. Another amazing number filled with flowers and bumblebees and all things summer.

The talented cast put on a great show and their costumes were exquisite. Some of the costumes did not look easy to move around in either, yet the skaters made everything look like a breeze. Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment is a spectacular performance that will leave you feeling enchanted and singing some of your favorite Disney songs as you leave the show.

  1. Disney in any shape or form can be a wonderful experience for families – Kids and kids at heart! We all love Disney and this summer had the chance to go on our first Disney cruise! The kids had a ball and I was really amazed at how every possible detail was amazing! The ship was impossibly clean and there were a gazillion things to do.

We travel with the kids (I blog about it) and we love showing them new experiences. We’ve not seen an ice show, but it is now definitely on the list of things we want to do!
