Knott’s Peanuts Celebration!

Knott’s Peanuts Celebration!

By Kirstin

My favorite thing about bringing my family to Knotts Berry Farm is that there is always something new to experience.  We love the rides, food and especially the characters!  We were invited to Knott’s to experience the new Peanuts Celebration that is running on weekends until March 10th plus February 11th, 15th and 18th for the holiday weekends!

Besides rides, everyone talks about the food.  What is new on the menu?  Every season brings new tastes to tickle our buds.   My family comes some days just to get Mrs. Knotts fried chicken and boysenberry cobbler!  What is new for the Peanuts Celebration?  Peanut butter and Raspberry jam!  Classic tastes with new twists, you really can’t go wrong.  What will be your favorite?  The Charlie Brown brownies?  Peanut butter and boysenberry jelly cupcakes?  Fruitloop bars?  There are so many different choices, it’s hard to decide! What would you choose?

What is new for the Peanuts Celebration?  Of course everyone loves new merchandise!  Check out the adorable new shirts, stuffed characters and hats!  The snoopy hat with the ears is a must have!  With the different variety of characters on the shirts, you are sure to find your favorite!

Speaking of characters, you will find that every corner of the park has photo ops with your favorites.  Here, at the Livery Stable, we found Pigpen hanging out with several baby pigs, mules and horses!  My horse crazy daughter wanted to spend all day here.

Do you have budding artists in the family?  Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw like an animator?  The Sketchy School will teach you how to draw Charlie Brown, Snoopy and more!  I wish I could say we have a future in the arts but sadly, my artwork fell short but we had fun never the less.

Be sure to check out the surprises and shows all around the park, at night, there are cowboy shows at Calico Park, Mine musicals at Calico Mine Stage.  Looking for something a little different?  The Fiesta Village has the first Discoteca de Silencio or the silent disco.  Participants will don on headphones and rock out to upbeat tunes.  In Camp Snoopy, be sure to check out Snoopy landing on the “moon” in Space Beagle.

We ended the day making one last treat.  The kids can design their own kite cookie with this adorable cookie decoration kit.  The kids can either design it at Knotts or take it home for later.

With so many things to do at the new Peanuts Celebration and the upcoming Boysenberry Festival, it’s hard to see everything in on one day.  Did you know that you can come EVERYDAY with no blackout dates for less than a week of coffee a month? I don’t know about you but I spend more on coffee than $18 per month.  For a total of $118, you not only get Knott’s Berry Farm but also unlimited Soak City as well with the Gold Pass! You can’t go wrong. Click here for more info–> Knott’s Berry Farm.
