OMG! Can you believe it?? After a  6 1/2 year wait from his last album, Justin is back in full force with his latest gem, JT The 20/20 Experience. Have you heard the EVEN BETTER news? Well, if you haven’t it’s that his CD dropped at your local Walmart on Tuesday, March 19th, and can be YOURS for only $7 if you hurry on up and grab one (or two, or three for your fellow JT loving friends) before March 25th! Or you can click HERE and ORDER your copy from Walmart NOW

I have been a Justin Timberlake fan since his Mickey Mouse Club and N’SYNC days. So when I found out about his new CD coming out, I was extremely giddy and it brought me back to my teenage years when my girlfriends and I would listen to his CD’s and sing along at the top of our lungs while ogling at the magazines covered with pictures of JT and his fellow boy band members. Later I would go on to attend a couple of  their amazing concerts.

Here’s one of those pictures. Back in April 1999, my senior year in high school during spring break, out at the river! Two of my good friends are pictured here (I was the one who took the pic) Can you see who’s on the cover? It’s none other than JT of course! I remember this trip vividly. We listened to N’SYNC on the E-N-T-I-R-E way out to the river (it’s about a 4 1/2 hour trip) singing at the top of our lungs…

Fast forward back to now, it was exciting to know that the day of  the CD release had arrived, and I could finally get what I had been waiting years for! Off I went, first thing in the morning to get my copy (check out my shopping trip here, in my Google + Album)

Look at that amazing price! I for one, LOVE that price!

Close up of the album cover. Are you seeing 20/20? I sure was! 😉

After getting his CD I had to walk a couple aisles over to see if I could find JT in any of the magazines, like in the “good old days.” YEP! Found him!  Here he is in the Rolling Stones magazine.

Past and Present JT pictures. 2000-2013! 19 year old Justin meets 32 year old Justin… WoW! Look at the difference 13 years makes. From a younger boyish look with the curly locks to a very sophisticated man.

JT is pictured above in a look-alike article as well as one of his appearance on SNL recently.

My attempt at trying to take a classy, sophisticated picture of the CD.

The track list may look short, but the songs are long.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up the CD and found that it looked like an old vinyl record!

I quickly downloaded my CD to my iTunes account so I could keep this pretty beauty in its nice little case (and so I could sit and stare at it and take tons of pictures of it!) LOL The soulful, smooth, and almost jazz like music filled the house as well as the backyard. This CD was amazing and brought back so many wonderful memories to reminisce over!  I was surprised by the length of a few songs, being used to his more shorter pop songs.  JT is back, and better than ever!  My favorites that I loved include  “Suit & Tie,” “Strawberry Bubblegum” and “Mirrors” as each was unique, no two songs sounded alike. I love that his CD truly steps out of the box and is everything that Justin is: refined, grown-up, classy, smooth, and is like a fine wine– he just keeps getting better with age! 😉

The goodies I enjoyed while taking my walk down memory lane and taking in the soulful, smooth new tunes of JT. 🙂

    • Hi Stephanie! Totally! One of the many reasons I love JT!! He has such an awesome sense of humor, he hasn’t let all the fame go to his head, he’s extremely down to earth, personable, approachable, sweet, and kind. You can join us over at Cbias by clicking this link and apply! http://www.socialfabric.us/ They are currently accepting applications for new bloggers from the US, Canada, andnthe UK!! 🙂 Hope to see you there soon! It’s a REALLY AWESOME group!! <3

  1. I was more of a Backstreet Boys fan…but I still had one of N’Sync’s CD (the one with the bye, bye, bye song). I can tell that you are a huge JT fan!! I must confess that I like JT’s new look (hair style mostly). I can’t remember when was the last time a CD but the design on Jt’s is simply genius!

    • So glad you were able to get the CD at the special price!! 🙂 Awesome! I wouldn’t be able to get rid of that clip of JT on SNL either!! 😉 Priceless!

  2. I saw JT on Saturday Night Live (he was hilarious! Love, love, loved the 5 times club skit.) and followed his week long stint on Jimmy Fallon. He was hilarious with Jimmy – especially the History of Rap 4. He sang a different song from the album every night, and I couldn’t believe how great they were, and how much range he has in his voice and ability to sing several different genres.

My daughter was into Nsync so I didn’t really see him as someone for my generation until I saw him the the Jimmy Fallon show. Now I want the new album too!

  3. Ugh, I have to admit…Suit and Tie was just not my thing… 🙁 I was excited to hear he was coming out with something new, but meh. I suppose I’ll have to check out a few other songs.

  4. I’ve not heard Justin Timberlake’s music as I am an aging fiery grandma. However, after reading this review I must say you’ve got me intrigued and curious enough to go buy it and listen up. Your girlish enthusiasm brought back memories I have of listening to Donny Osmond when I was a girl…he and sister Marie were my Justin Timberlake. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

  5. Normally Justin Timberlake isn’t someone that I would listen too. However, I am thinking of checking out this new album after reading the review.

  6. I love JT and I too went to an NSYNC concert when I was younger and the opener was Britney Spears. I remember it so vividly because we had lawn seats and it rained while we were there. We were soaked but we did not care because we were there to see NSYNC! How crazy it is to look back on him and how far he has come!
