Knott’s Scary Farm 2025. My Favorite Nightmare Returns for Its 52nd Season 👻
Scary Farm has a special place in my heart. I’ve been covering this ghoulish gem for over a decade now, and every fall it feels like coming home, if “home” were crawling with monsters, fog, and blood-curdling screams. The above photo is from way back in 2013 when I actually got to join the monsters for a group photo, and I swear, their twisted smiles have haunted me ever since.

This year, Knott’s Scary Farm celebrates 52 years of turning nightmares into reality and trust me, they’re not slowing down. Running select nights Sept. 18 through Nov. 1, 2025, the event promises 28 nights of bone-chilling fun with 10 terrifying mazes, 5 sinister scare zones, and 3 shows that will leave you shaking (and maybe laughing nervously) all night long.

🕯️ New Mazes for 2025
Mary – The Haunting of Worth Home
Step inside a once-beautiful home haunted by Mary, who was violently murdered and buried alive after the tragic loss of her family. She’s back, along with her army of nightmarish creatures, and revenge is the only thing on their minds.
The Zoo
An abandoned zoo has been taken over by animal/human hybrid experiments gone horribly wrong. The cages are open, the mutants are angry, and rumor has it they’re planning something monstrous.

💀 Returning Mazes (Fan Favorites & Final Years!)
Eight Fingers Nine: The Boogeyman – A colonial town plagued by a finger-eating monster (don’t fall asleep—he’ll find you).
Widows – Step into a web-covered nursing home crawling with demonic black widows and their unsuspecting hosts.

Room 13 – Prohibition-era mystery and murder fueled by a deadly cocktail known as The Devil’s Elixir.
Cinema Slasher – Walk through the silver screen into a trilogy of slasher movies where YOU are the prey.
The Chilling Chambers – A twisted tribute to Scary Farm’s greatest monsters and most infamous scares through the decades.

The Grimoire (Final Year) – Enter the cursed book one last time before its dark tales close forever.
Mesmer: Sideshow of the Mind (Final Year) – The hypnotic carnival of phobias returns for its curtain call.
Origins: The Curse of Calico – Discover the fog-shrouded secrets of Sarah Marshall and the town cursed by witchcraft.

😱 Scare Zones
There’s no “safe zone” at Scary Farm, but here’s where you’ll definitely scream the loudest:
Ghost Town Streets – The OG fog-filled nightmare where Scary Farm began.
The Gore-ing ’20s – A cursed speakeasy full of decadent souls who danced their way into oblivion.

CARNEVIL – Evil clowns and midway freaks stalking you on the Boardwalk.
Forsaken Lake – Gothic creatures emerge from watery graves in a funeral procession of terror.
The Gauntlet – Updated and deadlier than ever with jesters, barbarians, and wicked royalty.

🎭 Shows & Extras
The Hanging – Pop culture parody + stunts = chaos at Wagon Camp.
Conjurers – Illusions at the Bird Cage Theatre that’ll make you question your sanity.
Le Magnifique Carnaval du Grotesque – Dark carnival acts and daredevil stunts at the Calico Mine Stage.

Timber Mountain Log Ride: Halloween Hootenanny – A fan-favorite overlay with kooky monsters and a splashy finale.
Into the Fog Art Show – A Scary Farm tribute art show featuring eerie, one-of-a-kind pieces.

🍽️ Boo-fet with the Monsters
Fuel up before the terror with the Boo-fet, where you can actually dine with the monsters. Dinner includes a souvenir bottle, a monster photo, and early access to select mazes (including the two brand-new ones!). Boo-fet tickets start at $49 (separate admission required).

Feast or Fright: This year, Knott’s Scary Farm is taking its culinary creepiness to the next level with a lineup of blacklight-glowing treats and spine-tingling specialties. Don’t miss the “Blood Moon Bat Wings,” an eerie dish as dark as the Green Witch’s heart, or indulge your sweet tooth with the Killer Brownie Funnel Cake, so haunting, it might just demand a soul for proper enjoyment. If you’re looking to level up your experience, treat yourself to the Boo-fet at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant. This nightly buffet, hosted by roaming monsters, includes a souvenir bottle and a photo moment with the ghoulish crew, plus early access to a couple of the newest mazes
